My child had attended from the age of two through nursery and then carried on to breakfast and afterschool club in total we have been involved with the nursery for approx 7 years. So why such a negative view!! At the beginning was great, however as my child grew older this was my only option for child care when reached school age. As a nursery no faults I cannot comment on that and when my child attended all those years ago its was a good "nursery" but school age there are many flaws. Compared to other holiday camps prices are very high at a minimum of 26 a day with older children not getting any stimulation or enjoyment from the sessions plus additional fees for any trips out. Breakfast club is currently on with a maximum time of 30 minute's Staff turn around is high but credit to long serving members who all the children seem to love In the years I've been involved due to convenience staff turn over had been high prices rise alot and unless going as a nursery place little thought is there to progress nurture or encourage older children. Management constantly changes and through a difficult period of time staff members have no doubts been stressed with their own situation and therfore less than accomadating to those who are entitled and needed there help the most Overall as a nursery I cannot comment and at the time of my child attending would speak highly but for breakfast/afterschool/holiday club I would not recommend to any ages over 6 maximum as it is a very nursery based setting and preparing younger children for school.
