        My first visit here in a little over 30 years and to be honest it was well worth the drive. We recieved a friendly warm welcome from both behind the bar and the locals alike. The Royal Oak being a Free House offered a fine selection of quality beers & ciders that were equally well presented. If we are to retain the traditional British Pub, it's important to support public houses like the Oak, following my visit I don't think you will be disappointed

      If we are to retain the traditional British Pub, it's important to support public houses like the Oak, following my visit I don't think you will be disappointed
