A well run and inclusive club. The NEP lads have kept me motivated throughout what has been a tough year. Zoom S&C sessions are brilliant to fit into a busy lifestyle - you have the choice of doing them live or catch up in your own time. All from the comfort of your own home! The opportunity for a 1:1 coached session is something Ive never experienced previously but they really do work and make NEP stand out from a more traditional club set up. A weekly personalised plan will push you to be your best and keep you accountable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to improve their running.

Avoid this club at all cost. Never in my life have a came across a club which is not inclusive and lacks professionalism. Removing members who are chronically ill with no prior message is unacceptable and hurtful. My experience with NEP started out amazing, I loved it. I loved the team and had a right laugh while improving. I dont know what happened or why things changed but I began to feel targeted, targeted for being more of a social runner. Made to feel not worthy.

Received very prompt communication from my initial enquiry, which lead to a professional in-person meeting to establish goals and what can be offered and committed to from both sides. With Kieran and Ben being elite level athletes themselves, you can trust their approach is going to come from getting the most out of your training with very little waste, no matter what the level, all while staying injury free. I was able to attend a couple of sessions in a group setting where encouragement to work at your best comes from both the group and coaches, and the family/community feel of the group is very welcoming. Their focus too, on not neglecting S&C, facilitating it both remotely/virtual and outdoor, demonstrates that they're using the latest scientific research to extract the highest sports performance from yourself. If that is your primary goal and you can commit to it, give these a go.
