Saint Augustine's Roman Catholic High School

This school is absolutely disgusting, the way they treat the pupils. When the pupils try telling the teachers something they tell them off for being cheeky instead of listening to them, they speak over them not giving the child chance to say anything, when the child does tell them something the teacher changes the story so the child gets all confused. They throw green slips and ambers out for the fun of it!!! When I moved here and was told this is the best school around I fought to get my children in this school not being Catholic that wasn't easy, but God I wish I hadn't bothered it's the worst thing I've ever done for my children!

Funny to see the negative comments these are clearly either students or previous students because as a parent who had the misfortune of another high school in Lancashire I cant rate this school high enough, yes they are strict, yes they expect high standards, yes they are very very conscious of ethics and morality but this gets bloody good results, the staff have been great from day one and Id recommend it to anyone... if the negative comments below worry people then it wouldnt be oversubscribed to the number it is, the year my youngest started there were about 240 places and 500 applicants (2016 sept) this says it all!
