King Street Dental Practice

This is a great practice, my family and I have been coming here for years. All the dentists and staff have been very friendly, courteous and professional. Earlier this year I went for a check up, great service, paid and left, not long after, I got a letter stating I had not paid and an amount was outstanding. This was an error at their end, I checked my bank statement and they had taken the amount they claimed I owed, I informed them of this, but the manager rang me up and suggested that I settle the matter by giving them the last 3 digits of my card, which I was hesitant to to do, this resolved the matter. I understand that mistakes are made, but I received no letter of apology or thanks for assisting them in this matter, not even over the phone.

I entered the practice at 9:22am. I left at 9:28am. He inspected my mouth for less than 1 minute and didn't even look at the chart. This cost me 23.80 and I had to take time off work to come because you can never get appointments here, so you take what you can get. Could've at least offered a clean up or a polish. Don't come here unless you have no other option, what a waste of time and money.

Dont be put off by these bad reviews - in my opinion the service is best its ever been. Lots of reviews talking about how hard it is to get an appointment but - its 2022 and all dentists are feeling the pressure - its the same everywhere. A I dont feel like thats a fair comment. Receptionists have always been friendly and professional too. My new dentist and practice manager talked me through various coping methods for being able to have four fillings. Had it done yesterday and was best dental experience Ive ever had - no tears and kindness all the way. Thanks to Z, Mandy and other staff who supported -

Awful since new owners. Appointments were late, the dentist got impatient and annoyed when I struggled with the camera which was too big for my small mouth and I was nearly sick and he kept getting me to go back for lots of appointments rather than just getting on with getting the infected tooth out! He also claimed several teeth needed fillings which my new dentist elsewhere doesnt think so.
