The most tranquil lunch break ever! Not used to indulging myself or taking time out to breathe, my first visit to a beauty spa had me in all sorts of anxious panic. That stopped as soon as I walked in the door! Greeted with a warm welcoming smile, all of my worries tumbled out of my mouth and were met with the most reassuring and calming tones. Each step was explained, options around levels of pressure for the massage were given.my mind started to ease immediately. The room was a peaceful escape, with candles, gentle lighting, a heated bed and essences of calm. The treatment (Luxury Back, Neck, Face & Scalp Ritual) was dreamy!! The oils and gels were all discussed and chosen to suit my concerns. The massage was an absolute luxury, with such incredible scents and products, and the scalp massage felt unreal at the end. Finally, a glass of water was delivered to the treatment room and I was given time to relax and re-dress in my own time. A final discussion around future treatments to assist with the delights of aging skin, has me leaving the spa with a well-informed future booking that will both help my skin and ease me gently into the next steps of self indulgence, self care and relaxation.
