A very old pub close to Weymouth Beach with a fascinating history. The beer served was in first-class condition ( I had Timothy Taylor Landlord) and there was a good selection of choices to be had. We were very impressed and can recommend The Black Dog without any hesitation whatsoever.

Great Friday & Saturday night in the black dog. As always when we're down from Bristol the staff are very accommodating getting tables sorted for us as we came in a large group. 2 great act Friday & Saturday Good selection of ales ciders and gins . Don't just take my word for it pop in yourselves and give it a try
