Extremely rude members of staff in this branch. This is the second time we have visited in Weymouth and over the last couple of years and every time members of staff have been very rude and dismissive. Today, I popped into the branch to ask a quick question but I was shut down without even being able to ask what I needed. From what I can tell as they were closing up for lunch within 10 minutes of my entry but my two second question was too taxing. I put last year's visit down as a blip, however, I now know that seems to be the way they conduct themselves. Really is utterly disgusting!!!

We were told by text twice that our repeat prescription was being delivered yesterday, Thursday, its actually not the complete prescription its the second half that they had not supplied with the original repeats. We had phoned the chemist some twenty times on the Wednesday to see if they were being delivered as I ran out the next day and we didnt want a repeat of two weeks earlier. We were told they would be delivered between 11.31 and 13.31. This ment that my wife had to rearrange her afternoon appointment as I will not answer the door when I am home alone. I suffer with anxiety among many other things. We waited in all day but no delivery was made. We telephoned the Abbotsbury Road Boots branch more than 30 times yesterday to find out what was going on, they didnt answer the phone and there was no message leaving facility. Eventually we contacted Customer Services and they couldnt get through to the branch either, nobody answered the phone! The customer services left an e mail and told us the store would be in touch. The Branch telephoned my wife at 18.20 but by that time my wife was babysitting and found it hard to talk. They said they didnt know why it was down to be delivered, they had not requested it. During the conversation they said they know when I run out of my medicines, which is great because I have great difficulty in keeping up with them myself, especially when orders are short of the required contents quite often and like this month they only supplied half of the order. The lady on the phone from the Branch knows when I run out of tablets and claimed she knew there was no hurry to deliver to us as I had enough to last me up to the end of today. (Friday). I tried to explain that because of the fiasco that went on two weeks ago, and to be honest most months, that my wife had ended up collecting the prescription on the Friday, but we had run out the day before, so the tablets collected were started and used that day. To my knowledge there arent three Fridays in a two week subscription pack. The lady, Becky, said that she would get them delivered first thing on Friday. My wife explained that it needed to be before 1.00pm as we had run out of medication, also the appointment she had cancelled on Thursday was now rebooked for Friday afternoon. We received a text later saying the meds were being delivered tomorrow, Friday. However this morning we received a message saying they were being delivered between 15.00 and 17.00. So I have no meds for this morning again. They always used to be delivered on a Tuesday and we would run out on a Thursday, giving a couple of days grace to resolve any problems. The last six months have caused me nothing but stress and anxiety worrying ever time that I will run out as the withdrawal symptoms of some of my meds are extremely unpleasant. My wife also has her own disabilities and queuing for an hour outside of the chemist, which she has had to do many times, does not do her any good. We do appreciate the many problems all chemists have been facing with supply and staffing shortages. But when you are left with no means of communication as they never answer the phone, it becomes very stressful. This cannot continue.
