I dont often write reviews unless Im dissatisfied but for a change Im writing this one because I was really well looked after by the staff in this shop. They couldnt have been anymore helpful if they tried and I managed to get exactly what I wanted. Thankyou for your help and service.

Staff seemed preoccupied with jobs they were doing in the shop and didn't ask if they could be of assistance. I browsed the shop and chose a shoe I would like to try on. One of the two assistants went upstairs to get the other shoe and threw it downstairs to the other assistant. It was the wrong shoe so the assistant at the bottom of the stairs who was holding the first shoe was shouting up the description of the shoe to the other assistant who eventually threw the correct second shoe downstairs. Efficient? Professional?I don't think so!!

Took my elderly parents to this shop this morning and the staff could not have been kinder and more helpful. Unfortunately I didn't take notice of their names but whenever I have been, there the staff have always been very pleasant.

The member of staff at the door who waved us in was pleasant as was the dark haired girl. Unfortunately we weren't served by them, but the blonde girl instead. I won't publish the name, however clearly being helpful wasn't on her agenda. She didn't offer to help, however left her till where she was standing when I waved for assistance. We politely asked for the second shoe for three pairs and she abruptly asked for the shoes while staying at a full arms length between her and me. When she returned, she rather awkwardly handed them over at arms length again. We bought 2 pairs in the Sale having been attracted by the 10% discount offer in Resort Dorset Magazine. My wife then asked if one of the shoes could be unwrapped to see if a handbag would match and asked her opinion, both of which were reluctantly given. My wife then bought the bag as well. I asked for the 10% off and was correctly advised that it only applied to full price product. I then asked for Loyalty stamps for the shoes but was again told no as it didn't apply to Sale shoes. Whilst I was also looking at a pair of shoes for myself, I didn't bother as I was feeling uncomfortable with her attitude and just wanted to get out of the shop. When my wife left, she said how uncomfortable she had been. The staff member was rude by her manner and attitude and only cheered up somewhat with the opportunity to decline the 10% discount and follow up by declining the stamps. We love Rieker Shoes and will still buy them elsewhere. But this wasn't a pleasant shopping experience. Two stars for two staff and the fabulous shoes, but that's all I offer.
