I was seen yesterday in the Urgent Treatment Centre by Dr Huppertz and I cannot thank him enough, he listened and was so very kind. I walked away having been given treatment, next steps care and a psychological hug. If only more Doctors were like this as it would reduced medical anxiety massively. Thank you.

While my wife who was and still is in agony was seen near on straight away, it became very appraint quite quickly that they did no feel the injury she had warranted her seeing a Doctor? Nothing new nowadays!!!!! Was told to take paracetamol? (The cure of all illnesses as far as the NHS is concerned nowadays) Put a heat pad on it? It turns out now that this was the completely wrong advice? which in fact has made the injury worst not better? Suggest you take care and demand that you see proper professional ie a qualified Doctor if attending this place. I will be taking this further you can be sure of that.

A huge thank you to Michele and male (sorry, cant remember name) nurses for stitching me up (my forehead)on Friday afternoon 24 Mar 23 after my fall. They kept me comfortable and were able to relax my anxiety.

I accompanied my friend to the X-ray department at Weymouth Community hospital on the afternoon of Friday 24th March 2023. Unfortunately the GP had not forwarded the X-ray request form. My friend is very frail and not in the best of health. The male Receptionist was absolutely fantastic, so helpful and reassured us that whatever happened the X-ray would be done. I eventually managed to contact the GP surgery who then sent the form over. The Receptionist made sure that the Radiographer were alerted to the fact that my friend would need to have her X-ray even though the window for walk-in appointments had passed. Unfortunately I did not get the gentlemans name but his helpfulness and kindness was wonderful and was a shining example of how great the NHS staff are. Thank you
