Weymouth Flooring

I would NOT recommend Weymouth flooringthe customer service is abysmal. It took two fitters 5 visits..between one and one and a half hour each visit!!!..apart from the last one where they spent three hours..to complete what they termed a small job. Two other arranged visits were not kept and no-one bothered to contact me. After each visit I had to chase the shop to see when they would be coming backmainly the phones would not be answered and after leaving messages I did not receive any return calls, even emails were ignored for days. Once the phone was answered in the shop by someone called Markthis was after the second time the fitters hadn't turned up..he replied that the fitters were not working that weekend and according to the file there was nothing left outstanding at my property!!! I later discovered he was actually the owner of the shop!!! I then sent an email describing what was left to finish and had a reply two days later to say the fitters would come that afternoonand they took the whole afternoon to finish the job..strange as there was apparently nothing to finish!! The workmanship was pretty awfulthe vinyl was not cut straight leaving ugly chunks missing around the edges, they ran out of carpet and had to use another colour in the wardrobe cupboard, they re-latexed the hallway, pulled the front door to behind them and later that day I discovered the door was stuck where the latex had been pulled up under it as they left, luckily two workmen were next door and helped to free it and couldn't understand why it had been done as the bungalow had just been latexed all the way through. Then when they returned a few days later they had to hack some away as the front door would not go over the vinyl planks, this left a ridge which they filled with adhesive!! Later that evening I discovered I could not lock the door from the inside so went out the back door to try using the key, this would not work either. As I live in a Housing association property I contacted them , the carpenter asked who had readjusted the door, I told him I could only assume it was the floor layers as I certainly had not done it... He sorted it out and commented that the ridge in the floor was very tight to the base of the door. Services: Carpet installation, Laminate floor installation
