        Wasted half a day. Wasn't even the accused. Was there as a witness. 6 hours of waiting for less than ten minutes in court. They couldn't care less

        After a six hour drive to this court to support my Son in a driving offence of which he pleaded guilty to from the day the accident happened, only to wait another six hours (the magistrates broke for lunch for an hour) for the case to be heard & when it was, we were in the court for ten minutes. To put the icing on the cake I explained to the Usher we had a six hour journey back only to be told it was a very busy morning & those that were represented would be a priority over those that could not afford to be represented. I have never in my entire life known such disorganised & extremely unfair chaos in such appalling negative surroundings. My Son's case could have been dealt with via post with the court. This would have stopped all this waiting around, driving long hours & wasting Magistrates precious time when they could be dealing with the pleads of not guilty offences. A complete waste of tax payers money, this country needs to shake up the court regimented procedures completely!
