        I was a guest at Windmill Cottage last week. I was greeted very warmly by the owner and shown to a lovely room overlooking the pretty cottage garden. The room is bright, light and spacious and is well furnished with all the accoutrements you would need for comfort. I had come to the area for walking and the owner is very knowledgeable about all the lovely walking to be experienced in the area, and also has maps. I had a very comfortable nights sleep, the area very quiet, and was served a lovely cooked breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it. Upwey has two pubs and is on the bus route for Weymouth Bay or Dorchester with buses every 10 minutes also very near to Upwey station.
