This was a very welcoming church community, led by Neal Biles who is doing all sorts of great initiatives to help the community feel loved and know God through Jesus. The church had a notice board outside listing all of the many events happen each day of the week, many very open, some loosely structured, others more focused. as a solo traveller I appreciated making contact with some of the local congregation members, as well as Neal and members of the community, some churchgoers, others not. The events I attended were tuesday baked potato lunch and the tuesday evening modern worship time, followed by soup and an up to date encounter true Christianity course on video with Glen Scrivener. It was great to see a living church in the very town centre of Weymouth, and well before the summer season started. There are coffee and cake mornings most days, and art and craft open space on several days per week here, as well as the expected services on Sunday and much more.
