I have used this company for a number of years and Richard Oliver in particular. With his personal assistance, I have sold a number of properties and let others on leases ranging from 6 to 12 months long. Throughout this period, Richards advice and wise counsel have been invaluable. I have always found him to be professional and extremely helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his company for all aspects of selling and managing residential properties.

Was our landlord for 7 months. We had to break lease for job opportunity and Richard helped make this happen. Very helpful and always responded promptly to queries. Would definitely recommend!

At first was really helpful and quickly got thing sorted but after a while Richard Oliver started to become unprofessional and just was seeking money. Hampshire land and lettings do not have any consideration for the renter but only for the landlords. This is even show on their website. The problems started with him leaving us with no hot water or heating for over a year, a front door which needed to be replaced but again he was against the fact of this and we had to have a front door that leaked. Additionally, with evidence there was an ants nest in the garden which made the grass patchy but again he refused this and made us pay for it. Do not have a pet with this estate agent because he will make sure that you pay for it. Just like us he made us pay 35 a month extra with no paper work for the extra wear and tear of the property but when moved out he claimed that the rent did not go up during the tenancy. This was proven to be wrong with bank statements. It was also found that he had lied on the reference for our new property which was later found and dismissed by the other landlords. He was very untruthful and did not respect the fact that we where renting and making him money. I would avoid an properties that Hampshire land and lettings manage. Following this as you can clearly see at the response that he gave to this review he is untruthful and petty. Firstly, with the compare the market deposit protection service they use a independent person who is no where near being a court judge. Additionally, the pictures that he provided to this review are outdated and some are before us moving in. Also, he will not appreciate the tenancy agreement between parties as he has gone against it many times. E.g in the agreement it states that tendency can leave rubbings in the bins when at the end of the contract but Richard tried to charge us for the removal of the items that you can clearly see are in the bins. This with many other points are the reasoning behind the poor review and not because of money which he stated. In relation to the garden I have many letters and emails from trained landscapers and gardeners stating that the damage was due to ants and not us. Again Richard did not except this and called us liars and again charged us for this. In the clam for the deposit he stated he wanted 65 just to hoover a space no bigger that a large toilet even when the pictures of before we moved in showed that it had not been cleaned for months. But again he tried to charge us. The rent was increased with emails stating that if we did not he would kick us out. We asked for the paper work to be changed to reflect this and he refused to give over the paper work. So we do not know if he is giving the full rent to the landlords as he would hold all the money. In relation to the pet Richard stated in the comment to the review that we did not receive permission for the dog when in the emails you can clearly see that they gave us permission is evidence that the statements are untrue.
