Danny de Villiers Dentist

I took my 10 year old son to see Danny for a frenectomy about two months ago and he was great. I couldn't find anyone locally to me that could carry out a laser frenectomy, all of the other dentists wanted to use a much more invasive procedure. The treatment was quick and painless, it healed perfectly. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for a similar treatment.

The most professional Dentist I have ever been to. I had two amalgam fillings removed and replaced with composite, and a clean and polish. No pain or discomfort, the anaesthetic injections didn't even hurt. Danny explained everything clearly and checked I was ok during the procedure. The reception team and the Dental Nurse also very professional and friendly and the practice is spotlessly clean and well designed. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

After some searching on the internet and looking at a range of different dentists I went to see Danny for help in expanding my palate to help me to breathe better through my nose. It has been a massive success and life changing for me. Danny knows his stuff and has a great team working with him, like Yvonne the Myobrace expert that helped coach me with a brace I wore at night. I had been a mouth breather most of my life and was retraining myself to breathe through my nose. I had read that widening your palate could be something that could help, and contacted Danny about it. He knew what to do and guided me through the process. My energy levels, quality of sleep, and general calmness in life have massively increased as a result. Danny fitted me with an ALF to expand my upper jaw and got me using a Myobrace to align my teeth and retrain my facial posture. Although learning to sleep with the Myobrace was challenging, I got great guidance from Yvonne, who kept me motivated, and I now have straight teeth and a wide palate that lets me breathe through my nose in a way that was impossible before. Thank you for your help Danny & Yvonne!

Please take note before deciding whether to visit this man. Danny is an incredibly rude orthodontist. I went to get an ALF appliance which didnt suit me, it was in my mouth for a month approx. At first i was told by Danny it wasnt activated but then I developed pain in my front teeth and was then told its because its pushing my teeth.... The device gave me a host of problems including visual problems, jaw problems and nerves had been affected as it was causing a cranial misalignment. I approached Danny politely for help, he wanted nothing to do with me and inspite of my polite request for help, took the appliance for me and never refunded me the money. I asked for the appliance back but this got lost in the post. I only contacted Danny a couple of times after removing the device during which he said things like "I cannot help you because you'll always be on my back about it". He is rude and unhelpful. The orthodontist I saw to get the appliance removed told me it wasn't actually an ALF, so basically Danny made me pay over a grand for an appliance which wasn't even the treatment I'd asked for, basically he mis sold me something I paid an extortionate amount for. I had to see a neurologist too for my problems and the device he put in my mouth caused root resorption of some of my teeth. And to you Danny - I have read your snarky response. Just be glad I didnt sue you and may well still do. All the best.
