Surrey Brides

Surrey Brides was my first bridal shop appointment and Deborah made me feel so welcome and at ease, me & my bridal party were able to have a good look at all of the dresses (other bridal shops do not let you touch). Deborah understood the style I was looking for and was very patient and helped narrow down the choices when I loved every dress I tried on! She is also very honest and knowledgeable about what works and what doesnt. I had another appointment with Deborah and was so impressed with the service and care, she is so lovely and I would recommend Surrey Brides to any brides-to-be

The best experience!!!! I was seen by Anna on my visit and she was THE BEST! She listened to exactly what I said I wanted and chose some amazing dresses and knew exactly what would suit me, she was incredible with my mum and sister too, couldnt have asked for a better visit!!! Would highly recommend

Purchased my dress here, but overall a very average experience. I was told my dress would be made to fit, but from research online turns out this was not the case. This matches with other reviewers experience, something to watch out for as they will tell you it is made to fit. Shop assistants are nice, but shop suffers from lark of proper organisation and messed up a few thing on the way. Also beware of hidden charges as there are a few like extra changes if you pay by credit card (they dont tell you that at deposit which can be paid with credit card without extra charge). I got the dress in the end, but the service seriously drops once you have paid the deposits for the wedding dress.

Deborah helped me find my dream dress (Caroline flower dress) and made sure it arrived on an extremely short deadline (a few months). I tried on half the shop, and her team boosted my confidence of how I looked in the dresses! I personally had a different experience than some of the negative reviews, Deborah managed to get me the matching bolero made when I changed my mind really last minute. I also purchased a second dress from here, which was a reduced sample due to some damage - despite being sold as non returnable, Deborah let me change my mind a week later and gave me a full refund. She also managed to get my Caroline dress altered in a very very short amount of time as I had lost weight since it was ordered. The alterations were perfect! She did forget to order my veil but when she realised during my fitting she was very apologetic and promised she would get it made in time for my mum to collect with my dress in a few days.

Please avoid this company at all costs. I found a wedding dress that i wanted to order. All of the other bridal shops that i tried told me the dress wouldnt arrive in time for my wedding, I contacted surrey brides and spoke to deborah and she assured me she could order it and it would arrive end of august beginning of September at the latest. I asked her why the other stockists told me i wouldnt get it back in time but she told me as she is an elite stockist she gets special priority so it definitely would be back in time. She also told me the designer could customise the dress to my measurements. Stupidly i fell for her lies. I paid my deposit and ordered my dress through her, she then later cancelled my order informing me the designer wouldnt let her order it. We had to wait a while to get the refund so i was unable to go elsewhere to order another dress. I contacted the designer directly as i was so upset that this had happened, the designer informed me they dont make dresses to brides specific measurements so this was the first lie i had been spun by deborah and that infact the dress that i had ordered wouldnt be delivered until December at the earliest, which was 4 months after deborah had told me she would have it back by. So all of the other bridal shops were telling me the truth, deborah was obviously so keen to get the sale she would have told any lies and i would have be left with no dress for my wedding day. She has since harassed me about removing the negative review that we have given her. But i feel all brides should be warned as id hate for her lies to ruin someone elses special day.
