The Forge and Terrace

This is a dog friendly restaurant and during our 4 day stay we had two meals, in the Forge, both meals were very tasty and extremely good. I must say this made our stay at Kelling Heath very enjoyable and certainly will encourage us to come back.

Called in for a evening meal. Was told there wasnt any space. Even though the restaurant was empty. What a joke didnt even care, or check in away were glad we went in here. We had spent all afternoon looking around the site to buy a site pitch. If the complex staff are like that, its not what we would want

Lovely Sunday Roast, kids menu options are ok too. The burger was nice enough though a tad greasy. Prices reasonable. Decor a little tired and service ok.

This review is for The Pizza on the Square which is part of the Forge and Terrace complex at Kelling Heath. I have been coming to Kelling Heath for over 20yrs and have used Pizza on the Square many times over the years and have always been very happy with what we have received. Have they changed hands/ management or the guy is having an off day. No idea, but what I can say is smearing bit of tomato pure on to a pizza base and adding a bit of a topping is not a pizza. Worst I have had and my wife could not finish hers, so sorry, but on this occasion its a 2 star review. Please improve, we enjoyed you in the past and would love to again, but not if you continue like this. The extra star was for the memory of before, not for what was served up this evening
