Excellent size but needs a bit of tlc. Loads of parking out the front. On a private road so very quiet. Well equipped with large bedrooms, all with there own large bathroom. Large functional kitchen but no training rack on sink. Needs a new bin, lid is broken and bin is to long for a normal size bag. Bedroom down stairs, en-suite needs a good clean as mildew is present. Extractor fan not working. Bedroom at top of main stairs, bed is broken on 1 side. Had to prop it up as you would start to slip out of bed in the night. Noticed other reviews had noted this issue but nothing had been done. Lots of cobwebs and dust in every room. Needs a good clean. Main sofa is tired and very uncomfortable. 2 sofas at back of living room are much more comfortable. No pub in walking distance but are 3 very nice pubs a short drive/cab journey. Weymouth seafront is either a short drive or 5min train ride. Station is 15mins walk or 4min drive. Parking is free. All the bad points are easily fixable. If they were to be done would be 5 stars.

Stayed here for a week In May 2017 and thought it was a great cottage. went with parents who want a bathroom of their own and we prefer to have a shower ensuite so the set up here was spot on. They had a room next to a massive family bathroom, we had both the twin for our baby (which had an ensuite with bath) and a large double with fab ensuite shower. The reason my parents chose the other room was because it was effectively on it's own as our 2 rooms has their own staircase. Lovely house with plenty of space and a lovely totally enclosed garden which was perfect for our dog. the location was great for exploring the area although there weren't any decent pubs to walk to or even within a few mins drive. weymouth was only a ten min drive though if you wanted more of your evening. would stay again and recommend.
