1 star is much to many for this home, my sister was in this home for less than 3 months, it was the worst home in the world. The lies, the lack of care. The controlling management. Always looking for an easy life. I would never recommend this home to anyone who love their family member. Bad things happen to bad people... like my mother use to say everyone will get what they deserve. Nasty Place...

We thought we had found the ideal place for my mother in law who suffers from dementia. Her room and the sitting room were appointed to a high standard and some of the staff seemed caring and friendly. We thought it was a good place for her to see out her days here as she has lived in and around Wetherby for over 70 years. Whilst she was in hospital suffering from pneumonia she was evicted at 98 years old. We were told she needed nursing care and they didn't provide it. The hospital and her new care home disagreed. I guess she just got too difficult for them. They are happy to look after dementia patients as long as they just sit there and don't behave as if they have the disease! We are very happy with her new care home where the staff are caring and engage with the residents and this in turn has made my mother in law a different and happy lady.
