Had to give 1 star to be able to leave a review otherwise it wouldve been no stars Ordered 3 peonies ,over 200 in total , one was completely snapped , will not refund or replace , now asking if l have the original packaging, 2 weeks after l sent photos of the poor delivery Unbelievable, just wish ld read the reviews over the last 12 months before placing an order Lesson learned, do not buy from here , spend your hard earned money somewhere else

ATROCIOUS. Three peonies around appallingly packaged. One upside down in the pot, stems of the other crushed. Avoid. Update: response of the merchant was to blame the delivery company and to say 'I'm sure they will be fine'. DPD is not to blame for inappropriate packaging. I also note they (i) do not provide a telephone number; (ii) do not provide an email address and write from 'no reply' emails. In other words, it is impossible to contact them. These guys are cowboy rogue traders.

I would avoid this company. Im a prof head gardener. Bought potted tubers that had no root growth and consequently failed to break bud and died. Despite their policy claiming to send well rooted plants they found every excuse under the sun not to replace them despite all the evidence presented and a year of badgering - dont even bother trying like I did, they will fob you off. Have used a different company and have received healthy happy plants.

We ordered and paid for 2 tree peonies in Feb 2021 . They were 75 each and were on a delivery date of May/June that year . Right at the end of July my Shunkoju arrived, it was only 10 cm tall , was very dry and had 3 leaves on it , it was in a damaged box with a delivery note saying both plants had been delivered but the driver said there was only this one item for me . I contacted Primrose Hall immediately and was told the Chojuraku would arrive 2 weeks later. Since then Ive emailed their customer services department 17 times initially to get the plant sent but for the last 10 months trying to get a refund . Despite the fact that they respond to emails I still have no plant and no refund 2 years on. The plant I have got is a very feeble tiny specimen which has never developed into the healthy vibrant tree peony I expected for 75 and certainly wasnt at flowering maturity as advertised on their website. Its now looking like I will have to go through small claims to get a refund . What a disgrace of a company , I would recommend steering well clear of them. In case Primrose Hall wishes to reply to this review , our order number is PH20796 and it was ordered by Jane Shaw .
