I've been meaning to write something for a bit, don't tell Alex I said so but top chap to deal with (even if our haggling is like gladiatorial combat - great fun!). In all seriousness though for those of us of a more geeky disposition it really is a privilege to have such a wide ranging shop of this type locally. Its not really just a comic book shop but something much more eclectic covering any conceivable taste in genre material and with both vintage and modern pieces that you wont find in certain high street comic, SF and fantasy purveyors. I have been to many over the years and this is easily the best, although to be fair it is hard to make a comparison as I haven't really been anywhere else quite like it outside a Comicon.

One of the best comic shops in the country. The owner Alex is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, with ridiculously reasonable prices on a treasure trove of items.

I have collected comics for many years, and living out in the styx, I've always had to travel for hours to find anything decent, until I discovered strange apparitions. If you're a Wednesday warrior, or a casual fan, and you live in North Norfolk, or Lincolnshire, this is essential. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They offer subs, so you can collect your new comics every week. A great selection of old classics, that are always being updated. All the latest essential trades and manga too. Check out their Instagram @strangeapparitionsshop, where you can see the latest acquisitions. The prices are among the best I've seen in the country. If you have some old comic sets laying around, and want to get rid, they will pay cash for your old comics. Another added bonus is the location. It is located in the bay tree garden centre, so you can grab a coffee and lunch after your visit, and read all your swag. I've been to many comic shops countrywide, and in my opinion this is the best shop in the east of England.
