Wethele Manor

Stayed one night for work. Arrived early evening and my room key had been left for me inside the front door. The room was nice - its a beautiful old property. Unfortunately, my night was disturbed by a very noisy party returning in the early hours of the morning - raised voices, slamming doors and stomping up the stairs. Not the owners fault, but irritating nonetheless. Another downside was breakfast service not starting until 8am - I had to leave by this time, so wasnt able to enjoy what looked like a great breakfast menu. In short, this seems the sort of place more set up for leisure stays or large parties than convenience.

Nothing short of incredible. Simon and his team go to such great lengths to make your stay special. We had our wedding here and it was so helpful having Simon and his team supporting us on the big day. They were truly exceptional always a calming and reliable team that we could turn to during a couple of last minute changes. Words don't do justice to how incredible this venue is. I would recommend Wethele Manor wholeheartedly to anyone. It is a magical spot.

We attended for breakfast with Santa and I almost don't want to review this because it felt like we had this amazing secret! It was absolutely wonderful, the price was more reasonable than lots of other offerings, Santa and his wife were amazing and really spent time interacting with the children - photos, songs, stories and games. It was just over an hour of quality time in his presence and the kids thought it was absolutely perfect. We really hope they do the same again next year!
