Zara Emily

Zara was the Tutor on a Japanese Shibori and indigo dyeing course yesterday at beautiful Hawkwood College in Stroud. A great day, great teaching and Zara gave me the confidence to pick up the needle and thread to be creative. Lots of opportunities during the day to try different techniques and materials and ended up with a pretty decent silk scarf at the end of the day. I look forward to booking on courses with Zara down in Weston and again at Hawkwood.

Screen printing lampshade course. This was a brilliant course, Zara was so friendly and absolutely fantastic at demonstrating and explaining all of the processes in a way that was so clear to a novice. Support was given if needed. Lovely light workshop to be creative in and the refreshments/cakes provided were to die for! Excellent value for money.

I have attended two screen printing workshops with Zara. One session was as a participant myself and one with my young daughter and her friend for the Halloween workshop. Both experiences were excellent. Zara has a brilliant teaching style. My daughter and her friend were the youngest in their session and I felt Zara tailored the session for them really well whilst not holding back some of the older participants. Zara is extremely knowledgeable, patient and fun with her teaching. The kids had a great time. We will definitely book in for another session soon. I very highly recommend. Thank you so much Zara.

I recently attended Zara's lampshade workshop. It was such a lovely day! She carefully guided us through each part of the process: designing our stencil, printing the fabric and then making the lampshade. Zara was friendly and very supportive. She is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about printing and ensured that we all had a successful outcome. I never imagined that I would create what I did. The facilities were comfortable and she served wonderful cake! Thank you Zara Emily for a wonderful workshop!

Had a wonderful day doing a lampshade printing workshop with Zara, didn't want it to end, can't highly recommend enough for anyone fancy doing a lovely crafty workshop. Oh and thank you Zara's hubby the cupcakes were VERY yummy!!....Nadine
