Plz don't use
I am disabled and on morphine tablets, I've been here just under 2 yrs and every other month I am forced to be left in agony as my prescription is never ready on time, I am constantly left for 3/7 days without any pain meds
Which not only obviously leaves me in extreme pain so I can not leave my bed but also makes me suffer from morphine withdrawal.
I had a phone call Thursday from a member of staff who in formed me my tablets would be delivered today between 8_9am so I came home from visiting family last night so I would be home, I set my alarm for 7am so that there was no chance I would miss the delivery ( which is costing 55 Yr) as I thought doing this would prevent me from going through this every other month but No it hasn't.
I phoned to ask where my tablets where and was told I don't have any prescription ready, not till Atleast Tuesday. I was told I hadnt received any call making me feel like I was going mad, then when I finally ended up obviously upset and angry I was told there was nothing they could do as its a controlled drug so it has to be on a set day, which is rubbish. We are all told to order prescription Atleast a few days to a week early. I have been taking control drugs for many yrs, and I have never had such an issue. So now I am again left without any of my medication None at all, so I will not be sleeping again for at least a week as even when I eventually get my pain medication it takes another few days to get back in my system.
