Large open space ideal for walking, dog exercising, children's play area (football, rounders, cricket, kite flying, cycling etc) has been used in the past for sporting events and music events. There is a path circumferencing the park. Big grass area in middle. Tree lined full of squirrels and birds. Plenty of benches to sit and watch the world go by. No toilets or cafe in this park but there is both in the park opposite. Street parking only. Dog-friendliness: Large open space, walled and gated ideal for dog exercising.

Clarence Park East is the dog walking park. Its has a wonderful circuit path around an area of lovely green grass for the dogs to run to their little waggy tails content. The park features big old trees bowing over some of the paths with many memorial benches to sit on and ponder. Most of the walkers Ive met are friendly and happy for a couple of minutes chat about each others dogs. Its also a nice quiet place to sit and pray when my own dog isnt barking at others. . Its an awesome outside area right on my doorstep. Its also very safe for dogs as all the gates must be closed behind you to keep dogs safe on the inside away from the main road. There is also plenty of parking around the outside of the park.
