I have a special place for Western Counselling in my heart! And lot gratitude for Awesome staff awesome facilities. Saved my life cant thank them enough. Came in writ off broken struggling to accept things but broke it down for me and was they patient with me and I cant recommend them enough. I pray and hope I dont but if god forbid I relapsed 100% I would choose them again.

I first arrived during lockdown and what an amazing job all the staff done.it was the best ever Xmas I experienced since a child.all staff were truly amazing.then I was shown such care and love tracy and dave took me back after i relapsed.they have given me aftercare, a new home and I now volunteer enjoying every moment.they have given me a a total new life and I now practise my programme out in the community.the best detox and rehab around.truly grateful

Western counciling saved my life, I was in a hopeless place and couldn't see a way out. In the four and a half months I was in treatment They cared for me and gave me a new chance at life. Every member of staff was amazing to me and the owners dave and Tracy still keep in touch and the aftercare there is great

I didnt even want to give this place 1 star !!!!!This place is a total joke ! I have made a formal complaint to HR and plan to hold western counselling responsible for its lack of compassion support and resources to help someone in the need of support through a very difficult transition properly ! The owner is rude and acts entitled. They give you the impression that they are equipped to deal with mental health and addiction when they are far from it ! They have the woman showering in the mens side and the men sleeping in bedrooms on the womans side ! This is unacceptable! Make sure you eat and meal times because they will refuse you anything in between even though everyone knows your appetite while detoxing is unpredictable and such . If you are feeling suicidal or struggling dont go air your truth to them whatever you do because they will simply tell you that they are unable to help you and make arrangements for you to be picked up ! They really couldnt care less that this is life or death for you to them you are just another client with deep Pockets , avoid this place like the plague .

I have been struggling with addiction for over 20 years and I cannot thank western counselling enough for the help you gave me. It wasnt until I completed treatment and got home that I realised how beneficial the structure and rules had been for me. I had a wobble, but the tools given to me by the staff here have literally saved my life. without them I would be on a very scary downward spiral. Tracy and Dave, mark and Debbie, thank you for everything you did for me, what a team. Sarah you are brilliant and taught me so much. Thank you to Stacey and Michelle for always pulling me up on my behaviours, exactly what I needed. And Adam and Biko for all the advice you gave, It stuck with me. If you want to get well and need some structure, this is the place to be! They also make a cracking jam sandwich
