South Sands Hotel

The hotel is right on the seafront. I paid a little extra for a room with a sea view and boy was it worth it. You can see the whole sea front and when the tides in, the sea come to about 30 meters away from the hotel. Whats even better is, if you look out of the window in the evening the sun sets right in front too. Stunning views. The room itself is clean and spacious with a large TV (although you probably won't watch anything when the sun is setting). In the bathroom it is very modern with a rainfall shower. The bed itself is so comfy you won't want to leave. There is also a minifridge, safe and complimentary tea and coffee in the room. Be sure if you have anything from the fridge, the prices are shown. Downstairs there is a bar area with indoor and outdoor seating. This is also where breakfast is served which is also included in the price of the room. Good options for breakfast including continental and full English. They do serve food in the evenings too but I didn't have any so I'm not sure what food they serve. All in all, I had a really great stay and the staff were very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need. I would highly recommend staying here.

Weve just had our renewing the Vows function here. Wed like to thank boss ladies Bev and Jess along with all the fantastic staff in making our stay and function a most memorable one. Every single thing was taken care of from time of booking in January to now, great organisation which was much appreciated. The restaurant food, buffet and drinks selection was second to none, all our friends and family loved it. The rooms are clean, comfortable with good facilities. We shall definitely be back and wouldnt hesitate in recommending South Sands for accommodation, food and functions. Thank you all, Mike and Lisa Xx
