Like other reviewers I experienced terrible customer service at this Worle branch. Not recommend if youre buying anything expensive that has a fault once you get it home. Rude, arrogant staff members. Avoid.

The customer service here is awful. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I bought a pair of airpods from a different Argos on 16th June. The left airpod had a hardware problem so didnt work. I went into this Argos on 24th June explaining my issue and asked for a replacement. I had a photo of my receipt on my phone. The staff immediately assumed that I was trying to give back fake airpods in exchange for new ones. They told me that because the serial numbers on the AirPods and AirPods charging case didnt match they were fake. Also they claimed that the airpods didnt fit correctly in the case. I was shocked and asked could I please still have a replacement as I bought them from an Argos and they were in a sealed box. The staff would not help me at all and then said they needed a physical receipt to get a replacement (since looking online Argos do not require a physical receipt, even just a bank statement is acceptable) I asked what I should do and they said I had to return the AirPods to the Argos store I bought them from. I explained that I wouldnt be able to visit this store within the 30 day return period. I was then told that I could return them after this and still get a replacement (since looking online at Argos I can see this is incorrect so I would have lost my chance to return ) Thankfully, I went to the apple store at cribbs causeway and they told me that the serial numbers are always different and that the AirPods are real. They then replaced the faulty AirPod for no charge after I explained my experience with Argos. The staff here are ridiculously unhelpful , I have never seen customer service like this and to just completely make up reasons why the AirPods are fake is shocking to me. This experience has put me off using Argos again, I will definitely never visit this store again.
