When taking my wife to the Birch for the first time in June/July of this year my first impression was "this is a place of happiness" from the laughter we heard coming from the door before we went in. My wife has continued going to the Centre twice a week and has made new friends, is more outgoing and engages in conversation better. She always receives a warm welcome from staff and soon settles with her new friends. The staff are attentive and responsive to their members needs and moods and encourage them in various activities helping to create a family atmosphere. My wife always looks forward to her visits. My thanks and congratulations to the staff who do an excellent job in bringing joy and laughter to those in their care.

My dad starting coming here before lockdown and very quickly settled in and enjoyed every session. Sadly they had to close during lockdown but dad is back with the fantastic team that run the centre. He is happier, more alert, responsive and looks forward to seeing his new friends for 2 days each week. Well done to the staff they are fabulous....thank you Its really worth giving it a go

The Birch Dementia Centre is a wonderful place. Charlie, Gina and Vicky are professional, kind, compassionate and very welcoming. My Mum Wendy has been attending The Birch 4 days a week for months. She loves it and always enjoys her time at the centre. Mum is enjoying meeting new people for the first time in years. She was very self conscious about her dementia. The Birch has really helped Mum enjoy life again and enjoy the company of people in a similar situation. I am Mum's main carer and as a result of her spending 4 days a week at the Birch I now have more time for my work and relaxing. We are so lucky that this place exists in our town. Highly recommend this wonderful place.
