We needed to gain retrospective planning permission for a project after (with hindsight) an error on our/our builders side. Theo was recommended to us. He helped us through a very stressful few weeks and took care of everything for us. On a personal level he understood how awful an experience this was for us and was always on hand to offer his support. Him dealing with the planning department on our behalf in response to some pretty abusive comments from a neighbour was brilliant. I have no doubt his expertise and experience led to the planning being granted. Could we have handled this ourselves? Perhaps. Would I even consider doing so in the future? Absolutely not. Theo was worth his weight in gold.

A friend recommended Theo to us and we are so pleased they did. We knew what we wanted out of our house, creating a new utility room and knocking through the kitchen/diner downstairs as well as making some alterations to the bedrooms and adding an en suite upstairs, however we weren't sure the best way to go about this with the existing footprint of our house. Theo was absolutely brilliant, listened to our ideas and went through a few different suggestions with us in keeping in mind we wanted to maximise the space we already had. He was also able to make recommendations for builders and the structural engineer. We received our drawings back in the timescale advised and Theo was great when we then decided we wanted to make a small alteration and also when we had various queries throughout the building process. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend TMA Design.

Highly recommended with a fantastic level of service from beginning to end - Theo at TMA Design Ltd was fantastic on our project from beginning to end. He worked well with both our designer and ourselves to fully understand what we wanted from the extension to produce the end result that we are absolutely thrilled with. Along the way he also liaised well with the building company, the council and the structural engineer and we felt he was with us every step of the way. We would fully recommend his company to others.

Produced the architects drawings and gained planning approval, but make some big errors which meant the roof design wouldn't work and the ceiling height was much lower than planned. Then replied he was 'unavailable for 8 weeks due to heavy work commitment' and walked away from the problem. Would not recommend using this service.
