When my aunt was dying, all of the staff were so kind and compassionate to her AND me, it made me very emotional. They were supportive and helpful, without being intrusive. But I got hugs when I needed them! The staff were genuinely sad that she was so ill and their emotion moved me. They were so good to me after she died.
On the day of her funeral the staff who could lined the street as we detoured past the home. They gave us flowers and their grief, tears and love were palpable. It tore me up but I'll never forget it. They gave my aunt the send off she deserved and I thank them for that.
I have no doubt that she was in the right, and perfect, place for her last years living with Lewy Body Dementia. Thank you to all at Fig for your fabulous service and care. I am eternally grateful.
