very poor experience. In our experience the tradesmen cotswold oak use are sub standard. We had poorly finished heating, electrical, plumbing. We have been waiting nearly 2 years for a snagging list to be completed. Communication from Cotswold Oak is very poor. Sad, because the home is lovely. But cotswold oak appear to care very little once they have handed over the keys. *Edit* I think the fact Cotswold oak took 3 years to reply to this review (original review was 2019) speaks volumes. It's almost like their response here mirrors their work ethic on builds. Their reply tries to imply the fault is with my rent provider, when their work standard is the source of the issue. I am currently having on going repairs to my property because the house attached to mine is subsiding. (See the attached picture showing the expansion gap which should be sealed and around 1inch width, now approaching 3 inches as the building subsides). That's right, a new build subsiding after less than 2 years. Cotswold oak are as I type trying to rectify failings in their original plans for the properties where I live (didn't bother to install solar panels when the plans said they should) while having the audacity to apply to build new houses on a scrap of land nearby. The standard of their builds/finishing speaks louder than I could. *Edit 2* I guess Cotswold oak saw my edit and decided to delete their review due to the fact it provided further evidence of their poor customer service. But I will state that they did reply to my original review - 3 years later - trying to plicate themselves. When I edited my review as seen above, they deleted they reply, rather than address my comments. Again, this speaks volumes about their customer service.

Very sad experience with purchasing my property. The house is lovely and on a nice plot but Cotswold Oak have been terrible to deal with. Snagging has been a major issue and works are still outstanding. The landscaping on the site has been non existent. Site management hasnt come over to the residents so we are stuck looking at a complete mess. Communication with the developer is almost zero. Light fittings placed next to door openings, legs on baths not adjusted, door frames fitted incorrectly so the gaps are too large resulting in a fire hazard, cracked fascia ends.....I could go on but it's too depressing

Extremely, disappointed. I paid out nearly 50,000 for new windows. When they arrived the glazing was fitted with putty which was unacceptable and I rejected them. The windows were reworked to fit a moulding. At first I thought they had done a good job, then within the first year they started leaking and the stable door did not seal. I had to wait 2 years for them to find the time to repair. Now some of the very expensive double glazing has blown, we contacted them again - guess what the response was out of warranty so its tough luck. I sent them extracts from comparable companies web sites who say there is a ten year warranty on double glazing, an industry standard I believe. Also, two of the windows will not open they are totally jammed. Others are difficult to open and close. I reported this issue to them last year and to date I have not had a response. I am sure you will all agree you wouldnt be expecting to be spending another 50,000 on windows in just over 5 years, therefore my view is if you need new windows etc. then FIND SOMEONE ELSE.
