Contacted skip hire on Monday afternoon, arrived as arranged this morning( Thursday ) . Given a morning time slot, called to say they were 20mins away. Driver polite and professional. Used 30min drop and go so skip was filled and gone in that time. Lady answering call and calling us was clear about what would happen , sent emails straight away confirming details. Would use again.

It all started well competitively priced skip hire, friendly service (until see below), skip arrived promptly etc., however When I asked them to collect the skip they said it would be within 5 working days, which I was happy with. Unfortunately, however, they decided to collect the skip on the hottest day of the year (so far) and the driver failed to protect my tarmac drive. He put one of the lorry stabilisers on the drive with no plank (or protection) under the foot. Consequently, he left a foot square 1 inch deep indentation on the drive and merrily drove off. When I contacted Budget all I got was a repeated statement We do not take responsibility, its in the terms and conditions again and again. Even when I asked if theyd meet half way the response was the same. They said the drivers carry all sorts of bits and pieces to protect surfaces which they use at their discretion. Even I had the nouse to put two large wooden posts on the drive for the skip to rest on. NOT HAPPY and would therefore not recommend them. Service: Yard debris removal
