Prices are a little inflated as you'd expect from a local, out of the way corner shop. Lovely staff, genuinely they are very accommodating and always greet and treat with politeness. But here's the rub. They only stock up once a week, Tuesdays..normally after 2. I'm not sure of the rationale but running out of the stock they sell most (alcohol and tobacco products) every single week is rather annoying. It's not a stock space issue as the owner lives literally over the road in the large house. The second issue is I'd never buy any of the baked/bread/ 'fresh baked' goods. It's sat there on a shelf, no wrapping I can understand as it's environment friendly. However it's not covered with a screen. I've watched many people touch, squish and feel the breads/bakery products. Nice people. The shop has a long history. Currently I stick to going when I need to. But never, ever the bread wall.
