        What a set up tennis bowls croquet. Played against a Surrey ladies team for the Friends of English Bowling. Good food and company.

        My friends and i experienced a rather unpleasant atmosphere at this club. Some persons on the committee were rather unfriendly and asked intrusive questions repeatedly after we had paid the fee for the guests. We felt very uncomfortable despite having every right to be there. Was quite disappointed at the behaviour shown towards us, especially by the nature of the questions.
