They do not care about cars or people, and they lie to your face. I called in to arrange a test drive in the morning, all agreed. After a 1 hour journey I arrived at their plot, muddy and full of puddles, saw the car sitting in standing water with rusty brake discs and half deployed rear spoiler (edit: looking at your crafty reply, no one is worried about the weather, but a potential buyer does care about how a car is presented and the level of care you put into your assets and forecourt. I suggest that you face your responsibility rather than blaming the weather which of no one expects you to control). Someone called Ian came out. "Bad news, can't charge the battery, no test drive today." "I drove 1 hour for a test drive." "Yeah, sorry." " Is there anything you can do?" "Not really, don't know what to tell you." "Give me a pre purchase inspection by a mechanic?" "Yeah sure we'll give a free inspection in the Audi garage." "Great. Can I see service history and other paperwork?" "Sure go for it." After 10 minutes flipping through the papers, left alone in a room, I waved goodbye to Ian sitting in a hideaway room, did not bother to get up, did not think to open their gate to let me out until I called from my car. The next day I called to check the inspection was being planned, a different guy answered. "Ian promised me a free inspection, can you confirm when it will be done please?" "He promised what?!" Clearly no communication then. I explained what happened, he said "let's get that inspection done and go from there ok?" before hanging up. That was 3 weeks ago, I've heard nothing. (Edit: again, following your reply that tries to trivialise my complaint, I never requested a main dealer inspection, it was Ian that proposed a free appraisal by his friend at the Audi garage. The issue wasn't that I wanted an inspection but you didn't provide, it was that you promised to offer it then nothing was done so it was probably not a genuine offer anyway, hence a lie.) And one more thing, I asked Ian when I was there "how long has the car been sitting out here?" "2 weeks." (hmm, the battery went flat quite quickly then.) After 5 minutes I asked one of their mechanics (edit, can't remember his name, but he was the one carrying around charging leads trying to revive the car on the day) the same question, "3 months I reckon." Such a raving review before even a test drive was done, a new high for you guys?

Had a call from an enthusiastic salesman about a Tesla I was interested in. He asked me to send 5 photos of the car I wanted to part exchange. So I spent an hour cleaning it thoroughly and WhatsApp'd the photos. Immediate reply saying he would consult the sales manager and give me a price. Heard nothing for 3 days so thought perhaps I needed to get back on Autotrader and look elsewhere. First I WhatsApp'd to check if dealer was still interested in my custom. No reply. So I checked their website to discover the car is now sold. Now this is fair enough, I'd not paid a deposit, but some communication would have been nice! I was wondering whether the firm's name is a reference to its cars or its customers. Well if it's the latter they haven't made this customer happy.

This was the first time Ive used happier cars and I will be using them again in the future. The sales team were not pushy when trying to sell a car unlike most dealers and they gave us the time to look around the car without a sales person looking over us and gave us time discuss what we wanted to do. We brought a BMW and couldnt be happier with it. The car had a small amount of damage which required a new headlight casing and there was a scratch to the rear bumper. This was all rectified before picking up the car which only took 10 days with a full health check and new MOT. The repair work was also fantastic and looked as good as new. When we went to pick the vehicle up it was a quick and easy process they allowed us to check and make sure the car was perfect before driving off. I would highly recommend purchasing a car from here as it was quick, easy and hassle free. They were all very friendly and welcoming. Also I would say if you arent happy with something on the car let them know as they are very accommodating.
