Bought my first car from AMC, customer service was top notch. Danny was very helpful and polite throughout. Safe to say I am super happy with my new car and would recommend AMC to anyone. Thank you!

This is not a purchase review so it provide evidence e of the company being timewasters. Sold my car to them via motorway and even accepted a lower price, but they must have changed their minds so instead of telling me the completely ignored me and never replied to any communication or to motorway. Wasted a week of needing to sell the car

This place has a lot of 1 star reviews for a reason. I would advise reading them all reviews before purchasing. False advertisement to entice you in, mine was full service history and BlueMotion, but none existed. I collected the vehicle and the MOT had been carried out by their own workshop but no paperwork for the service. However, the wing mirror indicator still wasn't fixed which is a legal requirement. Took the car back the next day, 4 hours later, they advised me that the wing mirror does not have any power to it and that I had to book it back in for them to have it for the full day. 2 weeks later, I dropped the car off I advised the sales manager (Paul) that the cars indicator was booked in again because it had no power and needed investigating by them. I also mentioned at the same time that the cars central locking on the drivers side wasn't functioning but this message wasn't passed back to the garage team so took them longer to fix than they planned. If only they were capable of effective communication. 2 week after this I notice fluid on my driveway and and its coming from near the brakes which indicates major issues to me. So took the car to my local garage to investigate and they advised the caliper needed fixing and advised me to take it back to where I bought it from which I did. After they reviewed it they said the bleed nipple hadn't been fitted back properly after the caliper had been fitted last time, okay understandable, this can happen and as I'm not a mechanic I take their word for it and it is fixed. However, 2 months later the caliper started leaking again so proves that whatever the issue was they didn't fix it, either that or their mechanics are just as useless as their communication... and visit number 3 to this garage! 1-2 weeks later the engine management light pops up on my way to work and limp mode enables. I have it taken to my usual garage and they advise me that it's the turbo sensor and when that fails VW advised the whole Turbo could need replacing, I hire RAC to take my car back again to AMC for the 4th time. Yeah 4th time! The car was with them for around a week and they apparently fixed the issue by soldering the wire back together as this was the issue, hmmmmm. The PDI (post delivery inspection) that they advise is carried out on all vehicles is all in their imaginations and 100% does not get carried out for all the above reasons mentioned. To be fair to them each time I called with an issue they fixed it free of charge however I don't believe this is a valid enough reason for an upgrade in star rating. When I was using one of their company cars whilst mine was in the garage, it became evident how this business operates. They purchase cars very cheap (cheap for a reason), do very little to nothing to them and then upprice them considerably to make a healthy profit. I know this because there was paperwork of cars they were trying to purchase from bidding sites

Bought a car from here in May of last year, everything was okay with the sale of the car of course but I started to then have issues shortly after. Mid June my handbrake cables snapped, I rang the garage and they told me to contact the company I had warranty with which was fair, I did this and they said they wouldnt cover the cost so I had to pay out for these to be replaced myself. Then in July I had to get RAC out due to the car not starting, they told me it was an issue with the battery and it had to be replaced the battery was not working at full capacity and was pretty much dead 222 later I was back on the road again. Then back in December unfortunately I did some damage to the bodywork myself so I took the car to a nearby garage to get a quote to have the work done, they told me that work had been done previously on the car quite a shoddy job too he pointed out quite a few issues with that previous work. AMC failed to tell me that any such work had been done on the car previously. Then in January the engine light had come on! It just has been one thing after another. Honestly would not recommend buying a car from this garage.

I do NOT recommend you buy a car from this garage! The lack of professionalism and care was unbelievable. I recently brought a car from Amc motors in September. About 2 weeks later I found the car had issues. Immediately I took it to a bmw specialist as the garage was quite a distance from where I live. After diagnostics I found the car was not safe to drive. Warranty did not cover the cost of the repairs that needed to be done. I phoned the garage and explained my situation to them. After making the garage aware, the only decent thing I will applaud them for was coming to collect the car on a recovery truck to take back to Amc motors. While leaving me with a curtsey car, no other words than a shed on wheels, Once again the lack of professionalism was uncalled for. With the engine management light on and also an air bag light on the dash board. I felt like this was also unsafe to drive. I was told the car should take about a week to repair. After phoning the garage for an update, I was told to call back tomorrow. The only information I was given was that it was working progress. The next day after phoning I received the same message. Can you call back again on Monday and you will get update. To my surprise 4 times I phoned back. Finally I was told the car was ready to collect. No information what so ever was given about any work or repairs done to the car, even after asking for an invoice of the repairs, I received nothing!!! This did not surprise me! The next day after going to use the car the same problems occurred on the car. The rudeness from a gentleman on the phone I just couldnt believe bearing in mind Im a customer whos just purchased a car from this garage. His attitude was atrocious, and told me I had basically broke the car because they had repaired it. Telling me it was my own problem. Id had enough, this is not something you expect, when buying a fairly new car for it not to be drivable. I wanted to return the car and get my money back! Of course they were in no rush to settle my finance agreement, I can continue to say. 2 weeks they have had the car and still havent payed my finance company, might I add there not paying the full amount either! DO NOT buy a car from this garage!
