Rosa Restaurant Bolton

I do like this place and been a number of times with no issue. However on this occasion Its been a total let down. Lasagna and parmesan and truffle chips. The chips were really salty and the lasagna was burnt it's not going to put me off but if I get another dish like this I don't think I'll be giving it a 3rd chance.

Food was great, Nice atmosphere, and recommended from that perspective. Service was a bit too attentive, got asked a bit too much if I wanted another drink by various waiters, not sure if they had an alcohol sales target but it felt a bit pushy for alcohol sales... Cocktails being 10 each and me driving, wasn't really an option drink a lot....

Service was great, not too rushed or delayed. The food came in good time and presented well. Mushroom starter was flavoursome and the bread to accompany it was a nice touch helping to mop up the sauce. Garlic tomato bread was tasty. We had pizza, lasagne and carbonara all of which are staple meals for an Italian restaurant. Nothing not to dislike about any of them apart from maybe the carbonara became a little greasy towards the end, mainly due to what it was served in as the oil pooled a little in the bowl area. All in all very good would come again. Liked the decor and the mirrors gave it an airy spacious feel.
