My Son recently started training and playing for the U7's team at AFC Burnden Park and they have been absolutely fantastic. Made us feel so welcome and have been great with my lad.

Since our daughter found her love of football during lockdown, we've been so heartened by what AFC Burden Park has afforded not only Isabella though us as a family. It is such an amazing club to belong to with the most caring and dedicated Coaches. Every Thursday Isabella really can not wait to arrive to training and each Sunday morning is up with giddiness to compete in the matches. It teaches the children sport's skills necessary to play and progress whilst enabling them to develop other aspects such as friendships, discipline and respect. What was really evident from the onset is that the latter was to be achieved with the emphasis being on happiness and belonging, and it truly does. It penatrates your week in the nicest kind of way- with the group camaraderie, ongoing match plans, the siblings that play together on Sunday mornings whilst watching and supporting, the social events, the team/ parents' watsapp group (& its jollity!) to picking up team members from various addresses each week! It really has become something we hadn't expected, a sort of extended family that has at the heart of it each of our children and a game they all love. Team Spirit- thankyou AFC Burden Park. Great Club. My son settle in after game 1, not easy to please either so I knew straight away its a family run club feeling. Also they are very easy going and respectful regarding training, they was fine knowing we cant attend. Although Ive heard great things about the Thursday training.
