If I could give 0 stars I would. Booked a room 5 days in advance, started my journey to the hotel on the day and after driving for 1 hour and almost there, they called us 45 minutes before check in to say they had double booked our room and that if we arrived they have no room for us. Understandably really annoyed with this seeing as we booked in advance and didn't get notified until half way through our journey there that they were cancelling our room and the receptionist then hung up on both myself and my partner and refused to help us organise another room or deal with the fact they had messed our booking up. Disgusting.

The place is pretty but then there is never anyone there to answer the phone, it seems like a faceless place with no staff on site. We made a booking using an email we could no longer access, we could not contact the management to rectify the issue even though we called and went to the site. The guests we met there said they had also not met anyone but just got their keys by their door and accessed their accommodation. The view is pretty and it is next to a pub if you want some adult fun. But it becomes a pain when you cannot reach any person as a manager of or staff if the site.
