Good village style school

overall good school, but when i was there they had very bad S.E.N and this let me down a lot.

Well, where do I start. Hankham primary school is in a wonderful village in itself. Parent parking is another issue. They need to have the field next door. So, our two children, Lisa and Peter were at Hankham from grade one to grade five. Lisa finished upto grade six before going to Causeway. Peter finished grade five and ha one month of grade six. We moved to Ontario, Canada. All the time we were there, they both had a very good educational experience. From the then Headmaster, Mr Round and all his teaching staff, never had a bad word against them. The extra activities that I remember, coach trips, karate, Easter and Christmas fairs, biking etc.i myself was part of the parents side who helped organize the fairs etc. Hankham gives your children a good start to life in a great way. We were over in July last year and made a visit to the school, and caught up with Mrs Ripley and Mrs Smith. They gave us a tour round the new areas that had been built.
