        Great little place. A communit pub owned and run by the community. Excelent selection of beers available. They serve one dish + specials per night so curry night, steak night etc. We went on Fish n Chip night and the food was excellent! Choice of Cod or Haddock and Chips, Scampi and Chips, Battered Halloumi and Chips or Trout with baby potatoes and veg. Service was excellent and the prices very reasonable.

        After a visit Covehithe beach on a sunny breezy day,we didn't fancy any of the Southwold pubs, so we headed to the Race Horse. Great beer, friendly staff, very dog friendly and lovely food too! Just wished this was my local. If you are visiting this year make sure you make a donation to the solar panels appeal for the pub.
