Excellent meal. We were part of a large party on a busy night and I could not fault the service or the food. Generous portions.

Food was amazing as it always has been when we have been but on Saturday we were let down by the service, we were seated and our drinks and food orders were taken, then once they had arrived we didn't see anyone again. They didn't come to check the food was ok, they didn't come to see if we required any more drinks. Then after we had finished our meals we sat there for 25 minutes with our empty plates in front of us, again nobody came to us to take them away and ask if we wanted anything else it was us that got there attention to get the bill as we had had enough. They were not that busy either as I had gone down to the toilet and there was empty tables and 3 members of staff behind the bar chatting and one on there phone.

Lovely Pub. Excellent food, and excellent staff, excellent service all round.
