Oakley Green Conservatories

Oakley Green you have truly made our dream to extend our home for our growing family a reality. From the very beginning they took care of the fine details, from the initial design process, right through to bathroom furnishings. After discussions with many local companies about what would meet our requirements for a loft conversion, we were so impressed with the customer service and the professionalism and nothing was too much trouble. Oakley Green were able to design two large bedrooms with a separate WC and the workmanship has been fantastic from start to finish. Thank you Oakley Green.

We had a conservatory with upvc windows and a polycarbonate roof that we wanted to turn into a more permanent structure with aluminium windows and doors and a flat roof with large aluminium lanterns. Oakley Green had built the original conservatory and the brickwork and windows were still in really good condition so we decided to use them. I have to say we were very impressed with all the guys that came to do the work. They all worked hard all day in really cold weather to get the job done quickly so that we had a covered roof asap. Every one of them was polite and cheerful and did their work to a very high standard. It was clear that Oakley Green are a good employer. Many of their staff have worked for them for years. Mark, who project managed was almost always around, working along side them. Everything was left tidy at the end of each day and we were told who would be coming the next day and what work would be carried out. I have no hesitation in recommending them for this kind of work. My only advice would be to get them to check before you sign the contract they they really can do exactly what they say they can do. We were told that we could have a very large picture window, but just a short time before the work started, we were told it was not possible to make one window so large. This was a huge disappointment. So we would advise that you get them to make absolutely sure they can do what you want at an early stage. We have not regretted using the company however and would certainly recommend them.

We had an old, cold, damp conservatory replaced with the heavily insulated Ultraroof. Delighted with the end product. The care and attention was evident throughout. Nice people to work with, quite professional and very reasonable/ responsive when it came fixing the inevitable snagging list. Product looks to be very good quality. There's not much I could complain about to be honest. if I had to pick on a few things......The project dragged a little at the end but was all completed within 4 months. Sometimes had to chase a bit to get something sorted after the main bulk of work was done. Would have been nice to arrange the flooring with Oakley as well, but they weren't interested in supplying and fitting the under floor heating we wanted so had to arrange elsewhere which added a bit of hassle. That's it really. We spent quite a bit of time getting everything we wanted detailed in the contract and they were good on every point - I recommend putting some time and effort into that because they were good to their word. For example, a couple of things were unintentionally not completed quite to spec, and they came out and fixed when I pointed it out. All in all, aside from the relatviely minor points noted above, the project exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oakley. They deserve their excellent reviews.

I would like to praise all those involved in the construction of the orangery; the workmanship has been exemplary and the attention to detail has been well beyond my expectations. The materials used in the construction were of the highest quality.

We had an Orangery planned and installed by Oakley Green, every step through the planning and building process was really professionally done and thoroughly explained, we were able to incorporate our ideas and personal touches in the design that made it individual to us. The build was on time and managed really well at all stages and to the agreed budget. We are really pleased and love the final result and use the Orangery everyday. I would not hesitate in recommending Oakley Green, they are a really reliable local building company with great employees. Thanks Andy and Jane
