Great & friendly service. This was our first time visiting and we all enjoyed our meals. My slow-cooked beef cheeks were excellent, melt in the mouth. Feedback on the seabass and mussels was also excellent. Will definitely return in the summer

We really enjoyed our evening here. The atmosphere was lovely for a special occasion, the staff were very friendly and professional and the food was excellent. And the wine of course!

Absolutely awful. I don't know what happened to this place, possibly another hospitality casualty following Covid, but I used to love eating here on the terrace. Went on the 17th June for my birthday - mother in law booked the table, specifically told me we'd be sitting outside according to the confirmation email. Arrived to see the terrace shut and told that the upstairs terrace was purely for drinks, no food. We were not the only people this had happened to - we heard other tables complain about this. Not overly disappointed as it was in a terrible state, filthy and covered in bird droppings. Food was underwhelming. My starter of courgette flower was basically a flower stuffed with ricotta and spinach and warmed up. Should have been tempura battered and deep fried. Was not good or edible. Desert was also a let down - 7.50 for a 'cake' the size of a ping pong ball, that was actually a chocolate truffle. Never felt more ripped off. But, by far the worst thing of all, was the horribly rude man who was serving us. I've never been served by some one who so brazenly didnt want to be working there. Really put a downer on the whole evening. I'd reccomend going somewhere in Westerham village and safe yourself the ghastly experience of their hideous waiter. So not worth the price tag.
