Had a lovely dinner and although the bar was heaving as it was a race day it didnt spoil our enjoyment. We were seated at the back of the restaurant and the staff and service were brilliant. Very attentive without fussing. Food was great as always.

It was a great place to spend relaxing your body with great food and drink. The service was great to very polite and friendly and helpful great time there.

Before wed sat down, we were reprimanded by a member of staff because my 2 year old son was looking at the lights on their slots machine. He was on the ground walking past. I could understand if we had him up against it playing with the buttons, but he wasnt. He was just an inquisitive child walking past something very attractive to him. We are responsible enough to know not to let him play with it. Her tone was completely uncalled for. They didnt have the option that I wanted to order, so was left having to order not only a more expensive option but also 50% more calories. I prefer healthier choices under 1000 calories but this was not available and being vegetarian, they didnt have enough choice when something is out of stock eg only 1 alternative. Then when the food did arrive, it was luke warm. For the expense, Id expect a much higher standard as it was not the cheapest meal. When we were ordering the kids dessert, a horrible stench came from the kitchen which did not go away again. It was the smell of burnt oil in an oven. I came out very aware how much my clothes and hair had picked up the horrible smell and was really upset that I then had to attend a memorial service for my aunt smelling so badly.
