I couldnt recommend Russ enough. I passed FIRST time with ZERO minors. I was really nervous for my test but Russ made me feel calm and believe in myself. If you ever have any issues he will talk and even demonstrate you through them. I always looked forward to my lessons as I knew I could have a laugh with Russ and feel comfortable and confident whilst driving. At the beginning and end of the lesson he will talk with you about how you think youre progressing and if there is any issues you have. He took his time on making sure I was 100% on what I was being taught and never rushed me. I will always be grateful for Russ and will miss our weekly lessons. Thank you so much! Sophie Hanmore

Have been with Russ for several yearson and off never quite committing. In this time, I have also been with another instructor, thinking the grass was greener on the other sidebut came back almost instantly as Russ outshined the other instructor ten-fold; it was good experience because it allowed me to see who Russ is. He doesnt lean back for one second and is always switched on and aware, being critical to help shape you, but also gives lots of praise where it is due. I would describe him as fiercely passionate insomuch that he is demanding for sure, but the motive behind his method is that he never gives up on his pupils. Passed with 2 minors! Thanks Russ. It has been a long haul...lets keep up the slow gear changes. Hope I bump into you again - maybe on the road!

Just want to say a big thank you to Russ. Got me through my test with 0 faults. Cant complain with any of the lessons. Really sound instructor. Understanding and careful. Would 110% recommend if you want to pass your test first try. So happy with the results and cant stress enough how grateful I am to have had an instructor like Russ. Thank you again

Russ is a fantastic instructor. Came to him on recommendation from family, and I'm glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him. And more than learning to drive, I gained confidence in myself while with him. Passed first time. In the days since, I have begun driving on my own, and I feel confident and comfortable in my driving.

Russ was a fantastic instructor. He was very clear with instructions and always had a good, simple way to explain things. He helped me progress in a short space of time, is easy to get along with and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a reliable instructor who can do more than just prepare you to pass your driving test.
