My husband used this skip hire and was charged double the price for the same skip, he is self employed and can't afford to just throw away 180. When he rang to complain he was told he rang through a third party that they contract with and can't do anything about it. The problem is that he rang exactly the same tel no: with different prices. The contract company charged an extra 180 for apparently costs (putting the call through). Laughable. They said that he should have read the contract, how can he read the contract as they don't give you that until you receive the skip. Please be aware!

I ordered an 8 yard skip over the phone and explained that it was for hardcore. The skip was delivered and seemed smaller than Id received from other companies in the area. I questioned this with the driver and was told to call the office. I spoke to them and they said yes it was a 6 yard skip as thats all their lorries could collect due to weight issues. They offered to refund the difference but I declined and asked the driver to take the skip away with a full refund. The refund was processed but my issue lies with the deceit of ordering and paying for a larger skip than was delivered. If I hadnt have received 8 yard skips in the past then I wouldnt have known any difference and the company would have got away with what is essentially fraud. They were fully aware when I ordered placed the order that they wouldnt be able to deliver an 8 yard skip. Rather than explain this they just took my money and delivered something smaller. I will never order a skip from them again.
