Discovered it's my local theatre, and what a little gem it is! Beautifully situated in a lovely old Edwardian building, the pub downstairs is cosy and welcoming, with a great menu and mixture of nice patrons! Upstairs is the theatre, small enough to be intimate, which is exactly what u want in theatrics. Up close and personal - finally it's actually possible in London without paying an enormous fee for close up seats! This is my new favourite theatre, affordable, local, welcoming and warm with really good acts. Saw the News Revue in Dec 2022 and laughed all the way through. Had a great nite! Highly recommend. Make an evening and enjoy the pub. So rare now to get an intimate theatre setting and good acts, for good price in inner london.

Outstanding service, excellent food, and a refreshingly serious, proactive approach to managing allergies. Charm from start to finish.

I hope News Revue can return to its glory days (Ive been going for 7 years), but most recent performance was more miss than hit. Some uncertain performances (fluffed lines or jokes failing to land) combine with weak writing and subject choices: Greta T - as a snarling dog! - and Prince Harry - 3 times in one show - being as vilified as UK politicians will keep the anti-woke in the crowd happy Almost all numbers were rewritten Beatles songs (ie no musical variety), and theyve cut the audio-only jokes. Hope its teething troubles for a new team.

The team at the bar are the absolute best, so attentive and hilarious as well! Incredibly good food, clean and very good atmosphere. Brooklyn and xhorda looked after us really well.
